My name is Audrey Aiko Ong, and I am a second-year Chemical Engineering student at Tianjin University in China. In addition to my studies, I have the privilege of serving as a Student Ambassador and working as the Sectional Team Leader for the International Media Promotion Team. I would describe myself as a curious, optimistic, and hardworking individual. These traits drive me to explore new opportunities, embrace challenges, and continuously improve. I am passionate about graphic design, traveling, and learning about different cultures. These hobbies not only keep me creative but also help me stay connected to the diverse world around me. The vibrant culture, diverse student community, and rigorous academic environment have expanded my perspective in ways I never imagined. Beyond the classroom, I’ve had the chance to make friends from all over the world, gain new insights from different cultural backgrounds, and adapt to an entirely new environment. Each day here has been a learning journey, filled with opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a Student Ambassador, my mission is to assist prospective students throughout the admission process, which can often feel overwhelming, especially for those navigating it for the first time. I aim to simplify the process, provide guidance, and help students feel confident about their decision to study abroad. Additionally, I am passionate about showcasing the incredible opportunities offered by both China and Tianjin University. I hope to inspire fellow Indonesians and students from around the world to consider China as a destination for higher education while promoting meaningful cross-cultural exchange.
