The Weijin Road Campus, which includes the Qilitai neighborhood and Pengxiang Apartments, accommodates over 10,000 students living in 13 dormitory buildings. Currently, the standard accommodation arrangements are as follows: six undergraduates share a room, four graduate students share a room, and two PhD students share a room. Dormitory fees vary according to the students' degree; the fee for undergraduates and graduate students is 1,200 yuan per person per year, while for PhD students, it is 800 yuan per person per year.
Each apartment building is equipped with an entrance guard, automatic gates, a security system, and fire escape windows. Facilities include public laundry, showers, and a self-service desk that offers hot plates, hair dryers, microwave ovens, first-aid kits, and toolboxes. Each room is furnished with essential amenities, including a bed, a water dispenser, an electric fan, and additional facilities, while the campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi.
The Office of Students’ Living Quarters Management and Service Center at Weijin Road Campus is responsible for ideological and political education, cultural initiatives, security measures, public sanitation, routine facility repairs and maintenance, accommodation allocation, and related duties.
Accommodation for International Students at Weijin Road Campus
The School of International Education has two apartment buildings, named You Yuan Apartment and Liu Yuan Apartment.
You Yuan Apartment features six floors, with all rooms accommodating six residents. The General Service Counter and Service Department are located in the entrance hall. There are ten classrooms in the apartment building: five on the first floor and one on each of the second to sixth floors. The Multicultural Center, Office of Dormitory Affairs (Room 108), toilets, and public laundry facilities are located on the first floor.
Liu Yuan Apartment is divided into Districts A, B, C, and D, and includes a dining hall. This building consists of five floors, with all rooms configured as double rooms. The General Service Counter and Service Department are located in the hall. There are four classrooms in the apartment building, one on each floor from the second to the fifth. The toilets and shower facilities on the first and second floors are designated for women, while those on the third, fourth, and fifth floors are designated for men. The laundry room is situated on the second floor.
District C is designated as the Special Classrooms District, which includes reference rooms and multimedia classrooms (Rooms 201 and 202) on the second floor. The third floor contains eleven classrooms, with Room 305 designated as the multimedia classroom. The apartment building in District D comprises five floors, all with double rooms. The General Service Counter is located on the first floor. The building includes four classrooms: two on the third floor and two on the fourth floor. There are five meeting rooms distributed between the first and second floors, and the laundry room is located on the third floor.
Dining Facilities
Dining Halls at Weijin Road Campus
Currently, there are three canteens open to all students, in addition to a dedicated canteen for Muslim students on the Weijin Road Campus. Two of these canteens, namely No. 3 and No. 4, are located in the Qilitai dormitory area, while Canteen No. 5 and the Muslim canteen are situated in the Pengxiang dormitory area. The management model of the Weijin Road Campus combines independent management with trusteeship management. Canteen No. 4, the second floor of Canteen No. 5, and the Muslim canteen operate independently, while Canteen No. 3 and the third floor of Canteen No. 5 (known as the "Nice Food Canteen") are operated by catering companies.
