TheTJU·P&G·XEDA Innovation Institute of Science and Technology is an internationalized and collaborative innovation platform established by Tianjin University in partnership with Procter & Gamble (P&G) of the United States. Its establishment signifies a substantial advancement in the international collaborative innovation capabilities of Tianjin.

This Institute integrates P&G's world-class innovation capabilities and international influence with Tianjin University's exceptional academic and scientific strengths in chemical engineering disciplines, setting a benchmark for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, particularly within the region encompassing Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. The Institute plays a vital role in cultivating globally skilled talent, driving development, and enhancing the technological innovation capacity of enterprises while increasing the degree of industrial agglomeration.

The Institute features state-of-the-art hardware and software facilities, including over 1,500 square meters of standardized laboratories equipped with world-class experimental devices and modern testing and analytical instruments. These facilities are certified by the international CNAS and can serve a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, materials, chemicals, electronics, and food production.
