Zhejiang Research Institute of Tianjin University

TheZhejiang Research Institute of Tianjin University serves as a scientific research entity established through collaboration between Zhejiang Province and Tianjin University. In response to local industrial needs, the Institute has set up specialized research institutions in Ningbo and Shaoxing. Its primary goal is to facilitate the industrial upgrading of Zhejiang and support the development of local chemical disciplines, ultimately aspiring to become a world-class platform for scientific research and industrialization and to play a leading role in cultivating top-tier chemical talent while supporting high-tech industry development.

On July 21, 2020, theZhejiang Research Institute of Tianjin University was inaugurated in Ningbo, focusing primarily on the energy chemical industry, new chemical materials, green chemical technology, chemical safety, and other related research areas. Subsequently, on July 24, 2020, theZhejiang Shaoxing Research Institute of Tianjin University was established, concentrating on the fine chemical industry, biomedicine, and chemical environmental protection. The Institute is committed to advancing the green chemical industry, actively participating in laboratory construction in Zhejiang, and overcoming key technological bottlenecks that affect the safety of China's chemical industry.
