The foundation program at TJU is designed for students who plan to pursue science and engineering for further study, as the aim of foundation program is to arm students with a systematic study of general Chinese, technical Chinese, mathematics, physics and chemistry to help students proceed to degree programs of various disciplines at TJU or other renowned higher education institutions. At the same time, relying on the advantageous disciplines of Tianjin University, the foundation program is created to combine the characteristics of economics, management and commerce, laying a solid foundation for cultivating professional economic and management-oriented talents, and assisting learners in their future progress in the disciplines of economics, management and commerce.

Spring Semester: Oct. 15, 2024 to Jan. 15, 2025
Fall&Spring Semester: Mar. 15, 2025 to Jul. 31, 2025
