Welcome to apply to the Supply Chain Management program of Tianjin University!
The Supply Chain Management program of Tianjin University (TJU) was approved in 2023 and officially welcomed its first cohort in 2024, marking the first undergraduate program of its kind in Tianjin.
The program evolves from the Logistics Engineering program, which has earned multiple prestigious accolades: National First-Class Undergraduate Program, Tianjin Higher Education Brand Program, one of Tianjin’s first industry-education integrated model programs, and back-to-back No. 1 rankings in Shanghai Ranking’s A+ discipline evaluations for 2023 and 2024.
The new program will build on the solid foundation and advantages of its Logistics Engineering predecessor. With smart supply chain and operations management as its distinctive positioning and industry-education integration as its key support, the program will establish a smart supply chain laboratory and develop multiple off-campus practice bases. It will also create several smart-featured courses to equip students with professional competencies tailored for the smart economy era
Educational Objectives
This program is committed to cultivating outstanding supply chain management talents with global perspective, innovative spirit, and practical capabilities. Graduates should possess solid knowledge of economics and management as well as professional expertise in supply chain management, demonstrate strong innovation and scientific research abilities, be capable of comprehensively applying professional knowledge of supply chain management to solve management science problems in supply chain and logistics management, and have good communication and teamwork skills, noble moral character, and a truth-seeking spirit.

Promoted by TJU's "Emerging Engineering Education" talent cultivation model, the Supply Chain Management program has deepened industry-academia collaborative education. It has established student internship and practice base partnerships with numerous supply chain enterprises, adding 8 new industry-academia-research collaboration bases in the past five years, including leading companies such as JD Group, Sinotrans Limited, Transfar Zhilian Co.,Ltd. , Ririshun Supply Chain Co., Ltd., and Eleme.

·Employment Quality: The predecessor Logistics Engineering program maintained a 100% employment rate for graduates, with career placements including industry leaders such as Huawei, JD.com, Lenovo, FAW-Volkswagen, and Sinotrans. ·Further Education: Over 50% of students pursue advanced studies, with more than 68% of those studying abroad admitted to universities ranked within the top 100 of the QS World University Rankings.
