On April 15, Professor William Bloss, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Birmingham and Head of the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, along with his delegation, visited SESS to engage in in-depth discussions on further collaboration.
William Bloss introduced the history and development of the University of Birmingham and its School of Geography, Earth, and Environmental Sciences, expressing a desire to enhance cooperation in education, scientific research, and partnership building. Representatives from SESS and the university's Office of International Cooperation reviewed their collaborative efforts and agreed to further explore initiatives such as "3+1" articulation program, joint research, and partnership development.
During their visit, the delegation also toured the school's "A Decade in Earth Sciences at TJU" exhibition and the experimental platforms at the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology and the School of Life Sciences.
