Visit by Delegation of National University of Singapore

On February 20, a delegation led by Associate Vice President Luo Jibin from the National University of Singapore (NUS) visited Tianjin University. Vice President Ming Dong met with the guests, accompanied by representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and the International Joint Institute of Tianjin University, Fuzhou.

Vice President Ming Dong emphasized the need to align academic directions with regional industrial development priorities and strengthen the integration of academic programs with key industry needs. Building on current collaborations, he proposed exploring new areas of cooperation to deepen mutual engagement.

Associate Vice President Luo Jibin expressed concerns regarding student education and career development. He called for continued collaboration between the two universities and closer coordination with relevant authorities in Fuzhou City and Fujian Province to enhance graduate retention in local employment.
