Yang Xianjin Visits School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology

On February 5th, Yang Xianjin, the Party Secretary of the university, conducted an in-depth visit and review at the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology. The school leaders and faculty from relevant research platforms participated in the visit.

Yang first visited the Instrument Testing Center and the Cell and Tissue Pharmacology Center, where he observed the operation and sharing of large-scale equipment such as single-crystal diffraction, mass spectrometry, and nuclear magnetic resonance. He was briefed on the school’s research progress and major achievements, particularly in the areas of cell therapy.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the school. At the newly built history museum, the school’s Dean Liu Xiuyun and Party Secretary Wu Jing gave a detailed introduction to the school’s history, faculty strength, and its efforts in talent cultivation, scientific research, international cooperation, and party and youth league development. Yang Xianjin highly praised the achievements the school has made over the years.

Yang emphasized that the school should continue to pursue an international education model, cultivating pharmaceutical professionals with a sense of patriotism, global vision, innovative spirit, and practical ability.

At the conclusion of the visit, Yang sent his New Year greetings to the faculty and students, expressing his hope that, on the occasion of the school's 25th anniversary, the faculty would unite and strive to elevate the school to new heights in all areas of its work.
