Yang Xianjin Visits Faculty and Students on Chinese New Year's Eve

On the morning of Chinese New Year’s Eve, Yang Xianjin, Party Secretary of Tianjin University, led a team to visit and offer greetings to the faculty and students who stayed on campus during the holiday. They extended their best wishes for the festival and the New Year. Vice President Ming Dong, Party Committee Member and Vice President Li Bin, along with officials from various offices and Departments, joined the visit.

Yang Xianjin and his team visited key areas on both Peiyangyuan and Weijin Road campuses. They toured the main duty rooms and campus entrances, checked the monitoring systems in the control rooms, and visited security staff members. Yang Xianjin expressed his gratitude to the security staff for their dedication and contribution to maintaining campus safety and stability, while offering his New Year wishes.

At Peiyangyuan Campus, the team visited the Halal Canteen to check on meal preparations, and then proceeded to the Zhengdong Library, where they inspected the fire control room and the operation of the C Energy Station. At Weijin Road Campus, they also checked the status of laboratory operations. Yang Xianjin took the time to personally greet on-duty staff, wishing them a happy New Year and encouraging them to strengthen their sense of responsibility, ensuring continued service and support to create a more harmonious and stable campus environment.

Visiting students staying on campus during the holiday is a tradition that has been upheld by Tianjin University for over 20 years. In order to provide students with a warm, peaceful, and festive New Year, the university organized a variety of activities. These included distributing New Year snack gift packs and special edition campus shopping cards, offering free lunch, dinner, and breakfast on New Year's Eve, and organizing warm events hosted by each department to care for students.

Yang Xianjin and his team visited the Datong Student Center at Peiyangyuan Campus to meet with students staying on campus, where they handed out the New Year gift packs and campus cards. Yang Xianjin inquired about the students' academic and daily life, and their plans for the holiday. He encouraged the students to balance work and rest during the winter break, stay in touch with their families, and send them best wishes. He also wished them good health, success in their studies, and personal growth.
