On January 10, Professor Zhang Shuibo from the College of Management and Economics at Tianjin University was appointed Honorary Professor by the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). The appointment ceremony was held on the same day, with Professor Yeh, Anthony G.O., Chair Professor and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at HKU, presenting the certificate to Professor Zhang.
The ceremony was also attended by Professor Gong Peng, Vice President of HKU, and Professor Lu Wilson W.S., Head of the Department of Real Estate and Construction at HKU. The title of Honorary Professor is an academic distinction awarded by HKU to distinguished scholars from outside the university.
Professor Zhang, a renowned expert in international engineering management, holds a PhD in Real Estate and Construction from the Faculty of Architecture at HKU, which he earned in 2004. He is currently a professor in the Department of Engineering Management at the School of Management and Economics at Tianjin University.
