Vice President of Brunel University Visits Tianjin University

On January 3, a delegation from Brunel University of London, led by Vice President Zhao Hua, visited Tianjin University. Vice President Ming Dong welcomed the guests at the Peiyangyuan Campus.

Ming Dong extended a warm welcome to Zhao Hua and invited him to attend Tianjin University's 130th anniversary celebrations. Ming highlighted the fruitful collaboration between the two universities in recent years, particularly in joint student training and scientific research, facilitated by Zhao Hua’s strong support. He expressed hope that both institutions could further leverage existing projects and explore their disciplinary strengths to deepen and expand their cooperation.

Zhao Hua expressed gratitude to Tianjin University for its warm hospitality and introduced Brunel University’s history and internationalization efforts. He noted that Brunel has been recognized as the most international university in the UK for two consecutive years and expressed his desire to strengthen collaboration with Tianjin University in joint student programs and technological innovation. During the visit, the two universities signed a joint undergraduate and postgraduate training agreement.

Brunel University of London, established in 1966 and commonly referred to as "Brunel," is the only campus-based university in London and a member of the University of London federation.
