IET-ESI Sponsored by Tianjin University Included in ESCI

IET Energy Systems Integration (IET-ESI), the journal co-founded by Tianjin University, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK and Wiley Group, passed the evaluation of Clarivate Analytics and was officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) recently.

As a Gold Open Access journal jointly published by TJU, IET and Wiley, IET-ESI publishes original research findings, the latest perspectives from research projects and technology development, and systematic reviews in the field of energy systems integration.

It boasts a strong and active editorial board that is comprised of Professor Wang Chengshan, the editor-in-chief, from TJU’s School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Professor Wu Jianzhong, the deputy editor-in-chief, from Cardiff University in the UK, Professor Jia Hongjie, also the deputy editor-in-chief, from TJU’s School of Electrical and Information Engineering , and many other well-known experts and scholars in the field of energy from the UK, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Canada, Australia, the United States, Japan, and India.

Since its inception in March, 2019, IET-ESI has published 3 volumes, totaling 10 issues, including 2 special issues, attracting contributions in the energy field from more than 20 countries and regions. In February 2020, IET-ESI was officially included in the EI (Engineering Index) Compendex, and in June 2021, it was included by ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index). All its published articles can be retrieved and downloaded for free in the Web of Knowledge.

As Professor Wang Chengshan, editor-in-chief of IET-ESI put it, the energy system is one of the most important infrastructures in modern society. In order to achieve sustainable, cost-effective and reliable energy supply, a new energy revolution is emerging around the world and one of the biggest challenges is the integration and optimization of energy systems, which also contains infinite opportunities for innovation and development. IET-ESI will continue to focus on innovative research results in the energy field, and provide a platform for researchers in the field of the integration of global energy systems to exchange and share ideas.
