Go Swimming! Two Golds, Three Silvers, Two Bronzes

The university swimming team made history in the 20th Swimming Tournament for Chinese College Students, also the swimming trail of 31th Summer Universiade held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province from June 1 to 5.

 
In total, they won 2 golds, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. For the first time, the team have won medals in both short-medium distance and medium-long distance events. The team undertook the gold and silver medals in long distance events, and the national champion in Women’s 200-meter butterfly. The men swimming team made their best ever performance of 28s in Men’s 50-meter breaststroke event.
The team also ranked 7th in the Team Competition of Group C and the 8th place of the Women’s Team Game.
