2nd AOL Annual Conference of CoME Held

Recently, the College of Management and Economics (CoME) held the 2nd AOL (Assurance of Learning) Annual Conference. More than 30 AOL members attended the conference.

Liang Jiao-jie, Director of International Accreditation Office, gave a brief introduction to the development of AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) international certification of CoME.

Huo Bao-feng, Chairman of the AOL Committee and Dean of CoME, reviewed AOL Committee's work from 2019 to 2020 from three main aspects, namely Mission Driven, High-quality Development and Exploration of New Business, and highlighted the importance of AACSB international certification for CoME this year. Huo also handed out letters of appointment to 11 newly elected AOL members.

Professor Ma Shou-feng,the Party Secretary of CoME, encouraged committee members to think about the past and meet the new challenges of deepening the understanding of international certification, giving full play to the role of AOL Committee, and integrating certification with daily work. Professor Zhang Hui-ying, senior member of AOL Committee, shared her experiences and expressed her wishes for CoME to successfully pass the certification on behalf of all AOL Committee members.

After the conference, AOL sub-committees held a group discussions on major issues, development trends and development strategies of the project, and put forward a lot of constructive opinions and suggestions for future development.

This conference is of great significance for the promotion of AACSB international certification. The committee Members deepened their understanding of AOL through the communication, and sought good strategies for the development and future of CoME while keeping in mind the mission that We develop leaders with fact-based thinking, an innovative spirit, and social responsibility awareness through the creation, application, dissemination, and integration of management, economics, and engineering knowledge.
