The Crabapple Blossom Festival Story Contest is Underway

The contest aims to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Tianjin University Crabapple Blossom Festival in the way of encouraging teachers, students, alumni and local citizens to share their stories about this event.

Eligibility:

Open to all teachers, students and alumni of Tianjin University as well as local citizens keen on Crabapple Blossom Festival

Type:

1. Story& Photo

You may share your stories, pictures or souvenirs about and offer your best wishes to Crabapple Blossom Festival in the name of either an individual or a group (a dormitory, a class, a club, a couple or a family).

2. Vlog:

You may submit a vlog to present your precious videos, pictures and so forth about previous Crabapple Blossom Festival activities and send your best wishes to this event in the name of either an individual or a group (a dormitory, a class, a club, a couple or a family).

1.       Send your story & photo or vlog to our Instagram or Facebook account.

2.       Please Share your works on #Facebook or #Instagram with the hashtag #MystorywithTJU, and @TianjinUniversity. (Pleases send a copy of your vlog to haitang2021tju@163.com).

3.       Send your story & photo or vlog to haitang2021tju@163.com. All submissions from teachers, students and alumni of Tianjin University must include name, grade, major, telephone number and address. Local citizens need to provide name, telephone number and address.

Publishing:

Excellent works will be published on the Facebook, Instagram, Weibo and Wechat official accounts of Tianjin University and the alumni association of Tianjin University, and may be adopted for the publicity of this event and the design of cultural products.

Prizes:

1. All the participants who follow our guidelines are to receive a postcard on the theme of 2021 Tianjin University Crabapple Blossom Festival. The postcards will be limited to 500 pieces and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers and students could obtain the prize in person.

2. The organizer will select 5 first-prize winners, 10 second-prize winners and 10 third-prize winners based on the quality, reading and interaction frequencies of submitted works. Each winner is to be awarded a certificate and delicate cultural and creative products for Crabapple Blossom Festival.

First place- “Crabapple Blossom Festival: Our Appointment” Series

Third place- A cushion on the theme of “Xiaotang’s University Life”
