A Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed with the Bank of Communications Tianjin Branch

On June 15, Tianjin University and the Bank of Communications Tianjin Municipal Branch signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement.

Relying on the advantages of disciplinary and research strengths of Tianjin University, and the financial resources of Bank of Communications Tianjin Branch, both parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of information construction, fund settlement, personnel training, and industry-university-research institute cooperation.

During the meeting, Zhao Yongqiang, head of the Bank of Communications Tianjin Municipal Branch, stressed that the Bank will give full play to the advantages of financial resources and information technology foundation, and continue to support Tianjin University to develop into a world-class university.

On behalf of Tianjin University, President Jin Donghan expressed his gratitude to the Bank of Communications Tianjin Branch for its long-term support to Tianjin University. He stated that Tianjin University would actively serve and integrate into the coordinated development strategy of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, to provide strong support for deepening innovation-driven development and accelerating transformation and upgrading of Tianjin economy. He hoped that through the signing of the agreement, the two parties could further strengthen communication and cooperation, give full play to their own advantages, and build a model of complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win development.
