A TJU Student Attends the 21st Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting Youth Forum

The 21st Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting (TEMM) was recently held in Kitakyushu, Japan. Wang Xiaohan, 2018 master’s degree student from the School of Environmental Science and Technology, Tianjin University, participated in the event and delivered a speech as one of 5 youth representatives from China.

The theme of this youth forum is Imagination, Creation and Action—Making the World Sustainable. Chinese youth representatives at the meeting are from Tsinghua University, Northwest A&F University, Northeast Normal University, Tianjin University and Dalian Minzu University respectively.

During the forum, Chinese youth representatives made excellent speeches, demonstrating environmental protection actions of Chinese youths as well as vitality that they exerted in building ecological civilization and fighting against pollution. The tripartite youths also made cordial discussions focused on how to improve public awareness of sustainable development via the power of youngsters and formed a report later given to the environment ministers at TEMM, which was recognized by them.
