On December 18, Fuzawa Kyuki, Chairman of Mitsubishi Electric (China) Co., Ltd., visited Tianjin University, and was received by Liu Ning, the Assistant to TJU’s President.
Fuzawa Kyuki was invited to give a lecture at the Peiyang Forum on Mitsubishi Electric's concept of “intelligent creation “to more than 400 teachers and students at the Student Activity Center on Weijin Road Campus.
Fuzawa Kyuki introduced the history of Mitsubishi Electric's entrepreneurship, the company’s current development status in China and its "Smart Innovation" business. Additionally, he explained in detail the intelligent manufacturing practice path and technical support of Mitsubishi Electric "eFa@ctory", including the latest concepts such as green manufacturing E-JIT, etc. The report allows teachers and students to learn specifically about the development of Mitsubishi’s related industries through many examples.
After the report, Fuzawa Kyuki and his party paid a visit to the Mitsubishi Electric Automation Laboratory at the School of Electrical Automation and Information Engineering.
Later, Wang Chengshan, dean of the School of Electrical Automation and Information Engineering and Li Jiping, secretary of the party committee, held discussions with Fuzawa Kyuki and his party.
Wang Chengshan gave a general introduction to the school, its development plan, the construction of superior and distinctive subjects, achievements of scientific research, etc. He reviewed the previous cooperation and exchanges between the two parties, expressing thanks to Mitsubishi's support of the school’s laboratory construction.
Fuzawa Kyuki introduced the company's development in China and its cooperation with many domestic universities. He said that in order to promote the cooperation with Tianjin University, Mitsubishi Electric Group will conduct extensive research based on the context of the era of artificial intelligence, deeply explore the intricacies of industry-academia cooperation, and jointly explore new models and methods of talent training.
