2019 Urban Design Education Forum Successfully Held at Tianjin University

On November 2, the 2019 Urban Design Education Forum, a sub-forum under the Tianjin Planning Forum was successfully held at Tianjin University’s School of Architecture.This sub-forum was sponsored by the Urban Planning Society of Tianjin and Tianjin University, organized by the university’s School of Architecture and supported by the Sub-committee of the National Steering Committee of Urban and Rural Planning Education in China.

Nearly 200 people participated in the forum, including more than 10 experts and scholars from well-known domestic universities and planning and design academies such as Zhu Ziyu, the Chief Planner from China Academy of Urban Planning & Design, and Prof. Bian Lanchun from Tsinghua University, etc. Thematic reports on the issues of urban design education in China were delivered which discussed the new ideas, trends and methods of urban design education in the new era.
