Tianjin University and Hunan Province Sign a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On October 24,Tianjin University and Hunan provincial people's government signed a strategic cooperation agreementin Changsha.

The two parties will focus on Hunan provincial technological innovation and development as well as its strategy, integrate resources, and carry out all-round cooperation in the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, education, talent training, and major and key technology.

Tianjin University will cooperate with Hunan province on the research platforms including significant laboratories, engineering (technology) research centers, and achievement commercialization centers based on the provincial industrial needs of Hunan. Both entities will strengthen cooperation in a joint declaration of national major scientific and technological projects and research on major and key technologies in the areas of higher education, vocational education, and innovation and entrepreneurship education, as well as in improvement of educational levels and quality of Hunan.

Hunan province encourages high-level talent and teams from Tianjin University spend time in Hunan for innovation and entrepreneurship with their scientific and technological achievements, as well as excellent talents from Tianjin University to take temporary posts for practice in Hunan.
