Tianjin University Teacher Invited onto the Float in the National Day Parade

On October 1, Feng Cuiling, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University’s School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology was invited to attend the National Day celebration in Beijing and boarded a mass parade float in the National Day Parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

“Boarding the National Day float is the glory of my life”, Feng said.

When describing her feelings at that time, Feng Cuiling could scarcely contain her excitement. She said, “First of all, I feel proud, so proud! I am proud of the strength of our motherland. When I saw the beautiful and technological floats, I really felt the strength of our country. Since the founding of The People’s Republic of China in 1949, our motherland has gone from poverty and weakness to prosperity, creating a great miracle in the world.”

Feng Cuiling told the reporter, “I was so lucky to have the opportunity to attend the 70th Anniversary celebration. I feel glorious, and this is the glory of my life! At the same time, I feel a deep sense of responsibility. Dating back 70 years, tremendous change in China was brought about through hard work and the concerted efforts of all Chinese people. Every one of us shall work harder and harder and make unremitting struggle for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”
