School of Microelectronics Holds Alumni Association Meeting

The School of Microelectronics successfully held the Alumni Association meeting on June 22nd.

At the beginning of the conference, Pan Feng, Director of the Tianjin University Alumni Association gave a welcoming speech. He introduced the construction and activities of the Tianjin University Alumni Association to the guests. He said that the Alumni Association is the bridge and service link for Tianjin University to support their Alma mater.Pan said that alumni played a pivotal role in research, enrollment, talent development, overseas recruitment, etc., and expressed sincere gratitude to the alumni.

Ma Kaixue,Dean of School of Microelectronics and Xu Jiangtao, Vice Dean introduced the development of the School and the future plan of the Alumni Association respectively.

Several documents were discussed and released at the meeting, including the School of Microelectronics Alumni Association Renaming Motion, School of Microelectronics Alumni Association Charter, School of Microelectronics Alumni Association Third Council Proposal List, etc. And the third council members of the School of Microelectronics Alumni Association were elected, with Hang Jianmin as the president, Ma Kaixue as the vice president, Li Zongyao as the consultant, Han Xu as the secretary general and Zhu Shengli as the deputy secretary general.

Sun Yiwen made a speech as the representative of outstanding alumni. He talked about his complicated relationship with Tianjin University. As an alumnus,He has always cared about the development of the school.After listening to the dean's introduction of the school's future development plan,he was willing to contribute to its development.

As a teacher representative, Yao Suying welcomed all alumni to come back home. She said that the School of Microelectronics embodies the hard work of generations of scholars and alumni. It was responsible for cultivating talents for the country. The development of the school was inseparable from the support of alumni. Party Secretary Yang Jinsheng said that alumni were always the most valuable asset of the school and the most reliable force for the development of the school. The alumni association was the home for all alumni. Strengthening the work of alumni was not only the need for the intensive development of the school, but also the need for the school to serve alumni and give back to alumni. The alumni association will keep contact with alumni, integrate alumni resources, jointly shape the school brand, improve the reputation of the school, and promote the all-round development of the school and alumni.
