Hui-dong Hu：Be More Creative -- Unlimited Possibilities in the Era of Innovation

On March 31, 2019, Ms. Hui-dong Hu, General Manager ofCOFCO（Tianjin）Co., Ltd, gave an open class with the theme of "Be More Creative -- Unlimited Possibilities In The Era of Innovation" to the students of Tianjin University. More than 100 undergraduates and MBA students from Tianjin University attended the class.

At the beginning of the class, Professor Jing-zhou Pan, Dean of the Department of Organization and Strategic Management of theCollege of Management and Economics (CoME), introduced that the class was designed to help students have a deeper understanding about the service industry and promote the development of New Business as a subjectin the department.

Ms. Hui-dong Hu pointed out that in order to take advantage of the market, understand the principles and optimize the skills, we should not only systematically think about the industry trends and monitor the trends, but also return to the nature of business and start from the perspective of consumers. Innovation requires not only the will, but also the cooperation of mechanisms. People are the driving force of innovation and change, and culture is the soil and foundation. Cultural mechanisms should not only be written on paper, but also take root in the hearts of team members. She emphasized the importance of establishing the concept of lifelong learning, cultivating the ability of lifelong learning, having the courage to challenge and giving full play to the innovative thinking. She deeply analyzed the current development situation of the industry and elaborated the innovative development and cultural thinking of Joy City in Nankai, Tianjin based on many interesting cases.
