Tianjin University Awarded "Advanced Unit in College Logistics Development"

On March 31, the Forum on the Reform and Development of Logistics in Colleges and Universities in the New Era was held in Beijing. The conference was hosted by China Association for Campus Management. Nearly 1000 delegates from logistics of colleges and universities all over the country participated in the event.

During the conference, the colleges and universities that have made outstanding contributions to logistics development in the past five years were awarded. Through the recommendation of the special committee and expert evaluation, Tianjin University won the honorary title of "Advanced Unit in College Logistics Development" in three fields: property management, cultural construction and reception services, which made Tianjin University one of the units with most awards.

Tianjin University has continued to promote logistics reform in recent years. Up to now, the logistics socialization of the two campuses has completed close to 100%, and the system and mechanism of “service outsourcing and university supervision” has been gradually improved, and management mode suitable for the operation of the two campuses has been explored. Tianjin University continuously strengthened service support capabilities. The Logistics Department of Tianjin University continued to improve its service level, strengthen active services and refined management, carry out people's livelihood projects, broaden service areas, enhance service tastes, and do practical things for teachers and students.

In 2019, Tianjin University will focus on promoting energy conservation, consumption reduction, service improvement and three-round education in logistics, so as to provide strong logistical support for the construction of a socialist world-class university with Chinese characteristics and great characters.
