"Wow, I am proud to be able to study at such a university. I want to share this information with my family and my compatriots." Kamya Edward, an international student from Uganda, couldn't help making the exclamation after he attended the Second Campus Culture Event launched by the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology during Tianjin University’s Crabapple Blossom Festival on March 31. Themed as “A date at the Crabapple Blossom Festival, a chance to fall in love with TJU”, the event organized newly enrolled international students to tour around the campus, visit the university’s history museum and attend various cultural activities. “We hope that we can help students learn about the past, the present and the future development trend of our university. Seeing is believing and understanding leads to a sense of belonging.” Said Guo Jing, the event promoter and a teachers from the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology who is in charge of international student affairs management.
