Recently, Clarivate released the 2025 edition of the Journal Citation Reports™ (JCR™). According to the report, nine English-language scientific journals published by Tianjin University have been awarded a Journal Impact Factor (JIF). Among them, five journals are ranked in Q1, accounting for 55.6% of the total. SmartMat is ranked among the top 10% in its subject category, while Transactions of Tianjin University has maintained its position as the No. 1 English-language university journal in China for four consecutive years.
Compared with the 2024 data, Nanomanufacturing and Metrology and IET Energy Systems Integration recorded significant increases in their impact factors, rising by 44.4% and 47.1%, respectively.

These achievements reflect the strong disciplinary foundation and outstanding progress of the university's academic publishing portfolio, and also demonstrate the growing international recognition and influence of its journals within the global academic community.
