Tianjin University Enters ESI World Top 100

According to the latest data released by Clarivate on May 14, Tianjin University has achieved a significant milestone by ranking 100th globally by total citations in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database. This marks a rise of seven places from the previous period and represents the university's first entry into the world's top 100.

In the current ESI rankings, Tianjin University's discipline of Psychiatry/Psychology has also entered the ESI global top 1% for the first time. To date, a total of 19 subject areas at Tianjin University have been included in the ESI top 1%, five disciplines in the top 1‰, and three disciplines in the top 1‱, reflecting the increasing maturity and comprehensiveness of the university's disciplinary layout.
