From TJU to TAC's Spotlight: Engineering Creates the World, Education Leads the Future

To capture the latest developments in China's translation industry and create a platform for member institutions to share achievements, exchange resources, and engage in professional dialogue, the Translators Association of China (TAC) specially organized a session during its 2026 annual conference to release and showcase major translation accomplishments by its members. Following expert evaluation, Engineering Creates the World, Education Leads the Future — International Engineering Education Development Report submitted by the School of Foreign Languages from Tianjin University was selected for this prestigious list. The work was officially presented on the morning of April 25 at the 2026 TAC Annual Conference.

This major translation achievement draws on TJU's deep experience in emerging engineering education (New Engineering) and international academic exchange in engineering education. Its inclusion in the TAC Major Translation Achievements List not only affirms the professionalism and problem-solving abilities of the translation team at the School of Foreign Languages, but also highlights the commitment and practical results of TJU's foreign language disciplines in serving national strategies and advancing the high-quality internationalization of New Engineering education.
