On the afternoon of March 20, Tianjin University’s 2026 Spring Career Fair concluded successfully at the Weijin Road Campus Gymnasium. This career fair distinguished itself with its core feature of AI-enabled precise career services. It brought together over 350 high-quality employers nationwide, covering key sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, materials and chemical engineering, architecture and transportation, as well as electrical and electronic engineering. The fair offered nearly 25,000 quality positions, attracting over 8,000 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral graduates seeking employment opportunities. The on-site matchmaking atmosphere was both enthusiastic and well-organized.

The career fair comprehensively coordinated recruitment needs with the university's talent cultivation direction, achieving full coverage of recruitment across all undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. The event aimed to break down barriers between majors and job positions, vigorously promoting high-quality employment for graduates.
To further serve socio-economic development and assist regional talent attraction and cultivation, the fair featured dedicated government-organized recruitment zones for areas including Tianjin Binhai New Area, Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province, Xiamen in Fujian Province, Yangzhou in Jiangsu Province, and Xiaoshan of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. This established a tripartite collaboration platform among government, enterprises, and the university. While guiding graduates to develop an attachment to Tianjin, stay in Tianjin, and establish their careers there, the fair also encouraged students to contribute to the development of key regions across the country, injecting strong vitality from Tianjin University into high-quality regional economic and social development.

An AI Empowerment Zone was set up on-site, deeply integrating artificial intelligence into the full spectrum of employment services. The zone was equipped with a professional AI-assisted job-seeking system, offering various specialized services such as AI mock interviews, intelligent resume optimization, precise job matching, and career competency assessment. This approach broke through the limitations of traditional career fair services, providing graduates with intelligent, personalized, and precise one-stop job-seeking assistance. By leveraging technology to address job-seeking challenges, the zone significantly enhanced job-seeking efficiency and success rates.

To ensure the smooth and orderly operation of the career fair, the University established a comprehensive and thoughtful service system. On-site areas included the Main Service Zone, Policy Consultation Zone, and Resume Submission Zone, offering graduates services such as employment policy interpretation, resume optimization guidance, and free resume printing. Additionally, direct shuttle buses operated concurrently between the two campuses, bridging the "last mile" for cross-campus participation, significantly improving convenience for graduates and making the talent-employer matchmaking more "people-centric." On-site staff and volunteers were present throughout, efficiently guiding graduates' orderly entry and precise engagement with employers, and assisting them with tasks like resume submission and policy inquiries.

The participating graduates, energetic, confident, and composed, moved between various booths. They engaged in in-depth face-to-face conversations with employer representatives, meticulously discussing key aspects such as core job requirements, career development paths, salary packages, and corporate culture. It is understood that some graduates reached preliminary employment intentions on-site, achieving a win-win match between talent-seeking enterprises and job-hunting students.
The Tianjin University’s 2026 Spring Career Fair aimed to pioneer a new “AI + Employment” educational model. By empowering graduate employment with AI technology and upgrading employment service measures, it aims to help graduates shine brilliantly in their youth across various industries.
