Tianjin University secured the championship title with the highest total score at the 18th "Challenge Cup" Bank of China Tianjin University Students' Extra-Curricular Academic and Technological Works Competition, as announced at the event's summary and exchange conference held at Tianjin University of Technology on December 19, 2025.

TJU’s performance was nothing short of stellar, bagging 14 Special Prizes—accounting for 22.6% of the city’s total gold awards—and 12 First Prizes. In recognition of its outstanding organization and project cultivation efforts, TJU also took home the Excellent Organization Award, while its standout projects were invited to deliver roadshow presentations during the conference.

TJU’s success stems from a well-structured preparation strategy. Adhering to the principle of "advance planning, full-process accompaniment, and one plan per project," the university launched its preparation work early, organizing multiple special training camps to refine entries and provide targeted support to participating teams.
This regional triumph builds on TJU’s national acclaim: the university recently claimed the "Excellence Cup" at the 19th National "Challenge Cup" Competition, marking its fifth consecutive win of this prestigious national honor during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. This remarkable streak underscores TJU’s unwavering commitment to fostering innovative talents and promoting the integration of academic research with practical application.
The achievements reflect the innovative spirit and academic prowess of TJU students, as well as the university’s efforts in building a robust platform for youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
