

From November 29 to 30, the 2025 National New Liberal Arts Practice and Innovation Competition finals were held in Xi’an, featuring 454 projects from 221 universities nationwide. Tianjin University’s teams won one Gold Award (third place), two Silver Awards, and one Bronze Award. Two faculty members received the “Outstanding Instructor Award.” Notably, the “Rushing to the Mountains and Seas” team secured third place with their project on revitalizing the Grand Canal’s cultural tourism.
The competition aims to foster innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration in liberal arts education, encouraging students to connect theory with real-world needs.
Tianjin University will continue to promote practical learning and innovation, cultivating versatile talents to support national development and rejuvenation.
