MedTech System “Shengong-Shenshu” Unveiled at Global AI Health Conference

Recently, the 2nd International Conference on Medical and Health Artificial Intelligence opened in Tianjin alongside the Conference on Embracing AI Technology in Medical Settings and the 2025 CSCTVA Cardiovascular Anesthesia Academic Conference. Hosted by CSCTVA and organized by Tianjin University Chest Hospital and the CSCTVA Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Branch, the event brought together leading experts, industry representatives, and policymakers from China and abroad to discuss emerging trends in AI-driven healthcare.

Tianjin University President Chai Liyuan attended the opening ceremony, underscoring the university’s commitment to national strategic needs, fundamental research, and interdisciplinary innovation, including advances in brain-computer interfaces. He expressed the expectation that the conference would help translate cutting-edge findings into actionable technologies and deepen cross-sector collaboration to enhance public health and support the Healthy China agenda.

The event marked the debut of “Shengong-Shenshu,” a perioperative adverse-event warning system jointly developed by Tianjin University’s Brain-Computer Haihe Laboratory, Tianjin University Chest Hospital, and CETC Cloud Brain (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. The platform integrates multi-modal data from operating-room devices and introduces functional assessments such as cerebral blood flow autoregulation to enable real-time prediction of ten major cardiovascular surgery complications, spanning respiratory failure, heart failure and postoperative delirium. As the world’s first integrated perioperative system combining data convergence, synchronized visualization, functional evaluation, real-time prediction, and personalized intervention, it offers a comprehensive tool for improving perioperative safety.

The exhibition drew strong international interest. Brazilian physician Macus Chaer noted that the system offers objective diagnostic support for resource-limited settings by “giving operating rooms and ICUs an intelligent brain.” The conference also presented milestone achievements of CSCTVA’s “Heart-Lamp” Medical Technology Transformation Platform and released the 2025 China Healthcare AI Development Report.
