What a moment for TJU! On November 15, Associate Professor Wang Lili helped power Team Shandong to the women’s 3x3 basketball title at the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China, topping Team Hubei 21–12 in a confident, fast-paced final. The gold adds another sparkling shine to our university’s 130th anniversary.

Coming back from injury made this journey especially meaningful. “This National Games was a big challenge,” Wang shared after the match. “What kept me going were my two identities—athlete and TJU teacher—which always remind me to push hard and live up to my responsibilities.” That same grit shows up in her classroom and research, where she champions teamwork, consistency, and the joy of steady progress.

Wang’s victory feels like a win for the whole TJU family. It captures the spirit of our sport–education culture, where faculty and students cheer each other on and pursue excellence in many arenas. With dedicated training support, competitive opportunities, and a community that values well-being, TJU encourages everyone to bring their whole selves to study, work, and play.

Congratulations, Professor Wang! Your goldmedal performance has lit up our campus—sparking pride in classrooms, labs, and dorms—and inspiring us all to aim higher, move together, and carry that same brave, joyful energy into everything we do.
