Tianjin University Excels at 19th “Challenge Cup” National Competition

Tianjin University achieved outstanding results at the 19th “Challenge Cup” China Mobile National University Student Science and Technology Competition held at Nanjing University, winning 2 grand prizes, 3 special prizes, 6 first prizes, 6 second prizes, and 2 third prizes. This marks the university’s fifth consecutive “Victory Cup” during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, reflecting its strong culture of innovation and student excellence.

Known as the “Olympics” of student innovation, the “Challenge Cup” gathered over 2,700 universities and 3 million students nationwide. University President Chai Liyuan, Executive Vice President Hu Wenping, and Vice President Li Bin visited the exhibition of selected projects, praising the students’ creativity and commitment.

Over the past year, Tianjin University’s Youth League Committee coordinated 24 schools and more than 700 project teams through multi-stage selection, training, and mentoring. These efforts earned the university 14 special and 12 first prizes at the municipal level, and ensured its continued leadership in nurturing young scientific talent.
