
China promotes the “Made in China 2025” program with the background of the 4th Industrial Revolution, aiming to develop China as a leading manufacturer in the world. In this context, the concept of “Emerging Engineering Education” was born.

On October 8, a faculty group led by the Executive Dean, Alastair Burt and the Internationalization Officer, Peter Bardadyn from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide in Australia, visited TJU’s Medical College.

On October 8, 2018, AIChE Tianjin university student chapter got a breakthrough again--another award of Outstanding Student Chapter.

In recent years, with the help of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, cloud storage and artificial intelligence, the quality of teaching at TJU has greatly improved, and those technologies have facilitated talent cultivation.

Twelve hundred alumni that had enrolled in 1977 and 1978 came back to the university to celebrate its 123rd birthday as well as the 40th anniversary of their university admission.
