About the Lecture: The lecture takes classical popular poems as examples to introduce the traditional method to identify the Chinese characters and sounds, intoning classical Chinese poems, schools of intoning, as well as the literati’s playing the stringed instrument and singing to it as a skill and self-cultivation. Besides inspiring interests in the studies of Chinese ancient civilization, the lecture also refers to relevant examination.
