RMIT Architecture invites you to a public lecture by CO-FOUNDER OF ATELIER ALTER ARCHITECTS YINGFAN ZHANG: FROM CONTEXT TO SYNTAX: THE WORK OF ATELIER ALTER IN PROGRESS

The lecture explores the three trajectories through which Atelier Alter Architects reconstructs and reinterprets the histories of various cultural contexts—Surrealism, Industrial Triptychs, and Eternal Horizon. It will present the studio’s proposition between theory and practice and show how it creates architectural syntax faithful to the sites in both metaphysical and physical contexts.
