【Graduation】2020 Cloud-based Graduation Gala Held

On the evening of June 29, 2020, tens of thousands of Tianjin University’s faculty and students watched a cloud-based singing gala for graduation online.

With the theme of “Salute to Youth in Blooming Summer”, the gala is divided into three chapters:First Meeting with Classmates, Chasing Dreams for Truth, and Traveling Far with Farewell, showing the golden days of students at Tianjin University (TJU) from enrollment to graduation.

In the first chapter, the three songs of the Wind Rises, My Dream, and WingsofMy Words brought graduates into the beautiful scene where they once pursued their dreamsbravely.

The second chapter began with Echoes of the Rainbow which told a life philosophy of seizing the fleeting time. Then, a passionate Song of Chasing Dreamsbrought the gala to a climax.

The Brightest Star in the Night Sky was the song that set the stage for the third chapter during which the audience waved their cell-phone flashlights just like a sky of stars. And the other two songs reminded graduates how lucky they were to meet each other at TJU.

Before the end of the gala, the graduates reminisced about their best time at TJU by singing the Anthem of TJU and My Motherland and I together.
