“China-Malaysia University Students' Geoscience Practice" International Youth Exchange Program Concludes at Tianjin University

On August 31, 2026, the 14-day "China-Malaysia University Students' Geoscience Practice" International Youth Talent Exchange Program (CEP), also the Tianjin University International Summer School - Earth System Science Summer Camp, successfully wrapped up in Tianjin.

A total of 5 teachers and 27 students from the University of Malaya, alongside faculty and students from the School of Earth System Science at Tianjin University, lived, studied and researched together throughout the program. They achieved two-way empowerment through full-dimensional experiences including academic discussions, hands-on experiments, immersive field surveys and distinctive cross-cultural interactions, which helped them advance professional capabilities, promote cross-university scientific research collaboration, and deepen cultural consensus, sowing vibrant cooperative seeds for youth exchanges in the geoscience sector between China and Malaysia.

The faculty and students from Universiti Malaya sincerely expressed, "Throughout this program, we've learned many valuable knowledge about geology, history, technology and many more aspects of life. We truly love and enjoy every single minute being in China and we hope to come here again in the future."
