On March 31, the recruitment team of Tencent Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. visited Tianjin University and held a seminar for its 2026 internship program, building a high-quality platform for communication on internship and employment opportunities for students of Tianjin University and supporting the growth of young talents. The seminar attracted a large number of students aspiring to pursue careers in the Internet industry, with a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere on site.
Prior to the seminar, Zhao Xin, Director of the Student Affairs Office of Tianjin University, and Zhang Jiawan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Computer Software, held a discussion with Deng Hua, Campus Recruitment Manager of Tencent Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on key topics including campus recruitment cooperation, intern training, and job demand matching, and reached a consensus on further deepening university-enterprise collaborative education and expanding talent delivery channels, laying a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation.
During the seminar, the Tencent recruitment team gave a comprehensive introduction to the company’s development layout, business segments, and talent development system, with a focus on interpreting the 2026 internship recruitment plan covering various positions such as technical and product roles. It also elaborated on the support provided by Tencent for interns, including mentorship and welfare benefits. The event featured a series of practical sessions: one-on-one Q&A with HR professionals to address job-seeking concerns, professional guidance on resume writing to enhance application competitiveness, and on-site sharing of job-hunting experience and career growth insights by senior employees from Tencent, offering abundant practical information.


The seminar also opened an on-site direct resume submission channel to streamline the application process and provide convenient job opportunities for students, helping outstanding talents quickly match enterprise needs. Each year, many students from Tianjin University successfully intern at Tencent, most of whom are from the College of Intelligence and Computing. This seminar not only offered students of Tianjin University access to cutting-edge industry insights and high-quality internship vacancies, but also further strengthened university-enterprise cooperation, built a bridge connecting talent development with enterprise demands, and promoted win-win results for both sides.
